I've just got my left big toe into the hoover when the carpet beater was on and AAAAAAH it hurts! I was lifting it over the cable and the head of the hoover was vertical and that's when my toe touched it... I also hurt my finger in the process as I jumped, startled by the pain...

Hoovers are vicious things... housework is dangerous!

Seventeen degrees in Edinburgh today!!! :-O I so can't believe this! It's actually possible, for the first time in at least half a year, to go outside feeling WARM!! YAY! Made the bread from the Nigella book I got from Ian's mum for Christmas for the second time now and it's yummy! The crust is a bit hard though, like last time, so I am currently trying to soften it a bit by wrapping it in a damp tea towel... hope that'll do the trick. I will see Ian again in 5 hours and a bit!!! YAY! So after not seeing him for three weeks this is a potentially great day... except for the medieval drama lesson in 45 minutes where I again managed to only do the most essential reading for... I never seem to get over the bare minimum. Ah well...

Okay, so I actually managed to drag myself out of bed and somehow got my body to the library... I seem to have forgotten my brain at home though, together with my USB stick that I needed to do any work here. Just a short update from Edinburgh! Still no internetz in my flat and my parents are just outside the library sitting in a park so this won't take long. Well, it's nice here. WAAAAH! Only six hours until I need to take the bus to the train station and then the train to the airport.
