UPTA is over. It was a very successful trip. I'm pleased with my audition, my callbacks, and everything in between. It was worth the time and money. It's nice to be back in Charleston. I feel like I've been here for such a short period of time, and I'm already auditioning for my NEXT job! AND they're hiring a new resident acting company! My UPTA audition is on Saturday. every time i try to plan a trip to NYC, it falls through either bc of lack of money or bc my traveling buddy falls through. both happened yet again as i was planning a short trip while in MD on break from work. this time, i was not going to let it stop me. i was anxious and almost backed out bc of nerves. we have our preview night for Beauty and the Beast. After many rehearsals of feeling very unprepared (as a whole) we finally had a good final dress rehearsal last night. tonight we'll have a large audience, so i hope for a smooth, well-done performance. fingers crossed ( Read more... )
