Ah, singleness at Botcons. I can tell you from experience that the potential in your head never pans out. Of course, your extra X chromosome gives you a much bigger advantage than my y. :)
Yeah, I'd definitely have better pickings than your average guy there, but still...eh. I'm more interested in just being responsible for and to no one but myself.
I've been too mired in stuff here (and too lacking in faith that prereg will ever happen) to really look forward to BotCon. I should! It'll be good to see everyone again, and I could stand to take a break from everything and focus on trivial robot stuff.
Good luck with all the doctor stuff. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself.
I'm on the fence at this point between amusement and horror over the prereg situation. It's starting to look more and more like we'll be spending an extra 9 hours in line because they never got it sorted out. Schadenfreude only goes so far.
Ooooooo. Good point there. And my new netbook does have really good battery life. Maybe there'll be plugs along the wall we can commandeer for our chargers. You know. When 9 hours worth of juice just isn't enough.
I can tell you that I now deeply regret that I didn't try and see if I could make BotCon/Orlando park fun tiem work for me financially.
Since I rarely prereg for BotCon anymore I might've been on an even playing field with the rest of you when it comes to standing in lines. (Wait, what am I saying, I'd most likely be at one of the parks or reading by a hotel pool while you spend hours in a line for your prereg stuff.)
I got to say after how horrible these past two years for me have been for me, I am really looking forward to BC. The fact that it is at WDW makes things even better, it is the happiest place on Earth after all.
