In my dream I was watching poetv, and someone had posted the intro to a Perfect Strangers cartoon. To me, Metroid is all about exploring a stark alien world, alone. Emphasis on the starkness and the aloneness. Metroid Prime 3 was a good game, but it wasn't good Metroid. I don't think the new one looks particularly Metroid either.

Okay, it looks like I need a hotel for Tuesday and Wednesday night before Botcon. Who can I crash with? Alternately, if I got a room, who'd go in on it with me? That long before Botcon, we wouldn't have to get anything anywhere near the convention; I wouldn't mind saving some money at a Motel 6.

Ah, now i know why Quizno's is so much more expensive than other sandwich places. I'm paying for their insight into what toppings to put on my sandwich; other places just ask me.
