Matt finally got phone service after a week and a half of no contact at all. I t was so good to hear his voice..I miss him so much, and he misses me too...he's been sleeping with the stuffed animal I traded him before the storm every night. God that boy is so freakin' wonderful.

Sam saw my baby today. He was checking on our house, making sure the looting situation doesn't come that far. My best friend and her family went into SLidell today to access the damage of our street and neighbor hood, from things I've heard, and pictures I've seen..we got really fucking LUCKY. These are the streets around my subdivision and my subdivision itself..I think we may be lucky. Someone got into our street today and said all of the houses on it have trees on them..but compared to alot of other things, that's really, very good.
