I passed many places that purported to be interesting, then stopped in Port Townsend, which actually was interesting. Got there late that night, read Tom Robbins in a funky bar that played James Brown while drinking Millenium Falcon amber (I think I'm finally getting the acquired taste for beer, but I still make the "yuck!" face). Slept fitfully in

When I went to Oaxaca last month, I saw a tree with a trunk wider than my house and property put together.

do you know what kind of tree it was?

i remember the banyan trees in florida growing to be huge thick masses, but they don't count because their roots grow down from the branches and form lots of bonded trunks.
