Dear John,

Dear Charlie Dad,

I don’t really know where to begin this letter. When you hugged me goodbye, you didn’t really comprehend what kind of goodbye it was. From anyone else it would be ‘goodbye, I’ll see you later’, but this wasn’t, and I’m sorry. You asked me to give you the chance to hug me goodbye, and I did, as well as I could - I just wish ( Read more... )

That was supremely moving. The one and only jarring note to this is where Bella refers to Renee as mum since she calls her 'Mom' instead but other than that, it's a whole lot of wow.

Thankyou very much - I'll fix that up now - I always trip up on getting the American way of spelling things down pat in fanfiction.

Again - thankyou.

Really, REALLY sad.....It hurts my heart that hearing she knew she would die caused Charlie MORE pain. :(

Mhmm, it does hurt, but I think Bella would never be able to change without apologising to him, and thanking him, even if she knew it would hurt him more in the long run. She knows he would need that closure.

I'm terrified with you, but you see, J/B doesn't angst like this (when they're together) so I suppose it had to happen :3 Lovely letter by the way~♥ I think it really captured Bella's voice and I love the bit at the bottom. ♥

Thankyou very much - I always have trouble writing Bella because frankly, I don't like her too much, but I'm glad I captured her well.

And your right about J/B - E/B does work terribly on some levels I suppose -cringes- for the sake of good writing that is.

She's the typical ambivalent heroine. :/ They pop up everywhere in anime fandoms, so I suppose I'm used to it by now. *sigh*

E/B is a necessary evil :)
