For some reason I routinely find myself humming, or singing the one verse I know, of I Can See Clearly Now or whatever that song is actually titled. It's odd since it's not only not a song I particularly like, but it's not a song I've actually heard other than me singing it for probably decades. It must be the catchiest thing ever to still have

That reminds me of the AA prayer. "the courage to change the things I can, the ability to accept the things I cant, and the wisdom to know the difference." or something like that.
Not sure what the next line is exactly, but "It's gonna be a bright.. bright.. sunshiney day!" is the ending.

Thank you, kindly. It's startling how far I've drifted away from Livejournal. Not entirely good, but not terribly bad I suppose.

Things are indeed fairly sunshiney. Literally, which is a lovely change from my old environs. And figuratively, though I've got a lot more work to do. I'm going next week to take the placement test necessary to start taking some college courses. That feels like the wheels are moving underneath me.

I have moved on to different things as well, and life is good.
