The plague
It's been a tumultuous week or two. Gideon was sick with a stomach bug for three days or so. Given his inability to throwup into a bucket, he required a lot of attention during that time. Given Amanda's inability to stomach (hah) people throwing up, stomach bugs are my job. That meant several days away from the computer and long nights sleeping ( Read more... ) -
Inaugaration Thoughts
I enjoyed Obama's speech today. Luckily, working from home I was able to take the time off and watch it with Amanda and the kids. I like the fact that they will grow up having seen some diversity in the Oval Office, and hopefully witnessing a little bit of change in America ( Read more... ) -
Today is a day
It was a nice change up this morning. I left Amanda here to work, took Drew to school, then walked with Gideon downtown. We went to the bank and post office then hung out at the coffee shop. He was great, singing or sitting quietly in the stroller for the walk and our errands, and then playing with the toys at the coffee shop. He only noticed ( Read more... )
