I’m trying sooo hard to get into this Christmas spirit thing I’ve heard so much about. I’m pretty sure I haven’t experienced it since I was a child, and I remember liking Christmas at one point (sometime after I got over my fear of Santa Claus) and I would like to enjoy it again, but all my efforts have so far failed.

Last Monday one of my bosses approached me at my desk, walking over with this huge grin on her face. “Want to go to Regina?” she says in a tone that suggests “pack your swimsuit and sunglasses!” rather than... well... Regina.

I feel really stuck.

I want to leave, and I don't know how.  And I think it's killing me.

Very.  Slowly.

I need a new job, some new clothes, a new hair cut, some new books, new paint and a big blank canvas...  i need a change.  Either one big one or several small ones.  Anything will do at this point!

Can't sleep can't sleep can't sleep can't sleep can't sleep oh i wish i could sleep cause i have to go to work in six hours and i didn't drink any coffee today so why the hell can't i sleep!  gah!

Here I go  again... saying I'll post and then completely lapse and forget I even have an LJ...

The sad thing is that's all I really have to say.  I'm in a bit of a rut these days and there's nothing new to report.  Life goes on and I just pray that change will hit me in the face someday soon and offer me something new to do.

Time has stopped.  Forty minutes and I get to leave and have four days off… and I think my clock as been stuck on 2:45 for the last hour… I swear!  It’s awful.  It’s a shame.  It’s a ridiculous day!  I just want to go home.

 Tried to dye my hair crimson red last night.  It turned out orange... like... ORANGE...  I now look (in my opinion) like Gothic Orphan Annie... or Anne of Green Gables...  I'm having flashbacks to being in PEI and having the Japanese tourists tell me "you look like Anne!"  Yeah... thanks... not really what I was going for.  Sigh.  I'm gunna run to ( Read more... )
