I got a fairly decent mark in my Restoration and 18-c. lit. class. About five per cent higher than I had imagined.

Phew.

1. Coriolanus was, overall, a great play.

2. Colm Feore is a sexy beast.

3. Martha Henry was great. I don't understand why people didn't find her character more sympathetic.

4. Romans are scary every time we portray them. Why is this?

I was at a couple of protests today against the Shrine Circus. I was there because the Shrine Circus uses animals in its performances, and these animals are mistreated. I'm with Pencilla on this one. Whether it be volunteers, boyfriends, or friends, reliability is a nice thing to have. If you don't think you can do something, don't commit to it. Then, if you can, show up and surprise me and you'll be my favourite person in the whole world.

I went downtown today to have coffee with a friend whom I haven't seen in a while. Quite like all my friends, really. I don't have anyone I see regularly, unless I happen to be working with them or have a class with them.
