When we came home from Tukong, after we ate, both kids made a beeline for their gift bags. Mateo sorted and admired, and Rio filled each bottle with water. He explained that the bottles contained magic, so that even though he put plain water in them, the potion became magical after sitting in the bottle. Shaking the bottle is important because it distributes the magic.

He brought the eyedropper to me and put it the the stuff waiting for the birth and whispered, "This is magic for the baby when she comes. Be sure to shake it really well before you give it to her."

So all and all, a big success.

Yeah, ours had no glitter, I'm guessing that was special just for you.

Of course, it's also possible that they ran out of glitter, or knew better than to provoke my wrath.

Sounds like you're doing well there at the Palace. That sounds keen. I can't believe that Kai didn't throw the "house rules" at you which include a section on the receiving and delivering of house mail.

And where is this cat that you speak of?

Nuh uh. I even had to ask the other newest Palacian where to store my food and stuff when I moved in. And it wasn't until my first house meeting that I realized we buy some supplies as a house.
/shrug/
I'm guessing I didn't get a training because it was assumed that I already knew what was what at the Palace.

Oh, and the cat is at Doryan's house. Don't worry, we haven't replaced your kitty with a new Palace kitty.
