The phone rings the next day while they're lying together in their bed, naked and sweating from recent activities. Mimi doesn't get up, even when her mother's voice starts speaking - until she hears "I told your father about your young man."

She's up and out of bed in about two seconds, running for the phone.

The bathroom door is closed, and Mimi is on one side of it, getting ready for work, with Roger on the other side.

Mimi, fully dressed and applying makeup, calls through the door, "Baby? Do you wanna come with me tonight?"

This morning, Mimi left the bar to go to work, and left a note for Roger.

It was a long note.

Mimi is in their room, getting dressed to go watch Collins and Angel propose to each other.

In concession to the day - and to see the look on Roger's face - she's wearing a rather small dress in a very dark shade of red, one that clings to her curves in a very pleasing manner.

After Gwen is done fixing Roger, he and Mimi go back to her room, hand-in-hand, clinging to each other.

Mimi is relieved, but rather in shock, and trembling faintly.

While Roger was sick, she was forcing herself to keep it together, to stay strong for him.

Now...well...

Meltdown is imminent.

Mimi is in their room, deleriously, obliviously happy.

Roger needs her. He's not leaving her, he thinks there's nothing wrong with her. He loves her, and he wants to stay.

She's never been so happy.

She's singing a love song.

"'You light up my days and fill my nights with song...'"

She can't stop smiling.

Mimi is in the shower, cleaning herself off after a grueling training session with Faith.

Very wet. And very naked.

And did we mention the wet?

She is suitable for pouncing.
