I had intended to make this more about Peter but it sort of came down rather as a story about Steve and Tony. I hope that's okay. Any mistakes that anon makes, anon is sorry for

Peter heard the shots, his head whipping towards the sound, his ears itched with the vibrations as he felt the notes pluck inside his head.

Running outside, he sees the crowd and they're gathered over someone but Peter can see the streaks of blood on the pavement. A woman is crying and there are two people holding her, caging her safe between them. Peter walks towards them when he catches pieces of their conversation.

"Tony? Peter? Who are they? Come on big guy, stay with us." A man murmurs but Peter hears it. "Oh man, that's a lot of blood."

"Uncle Steve?" Peter couldn't have sounded more like a child when he hears his voice crack over the words. He prays more than anything else that it isn't him. Please, God, no. The people turn to him and welcome him in, and it is. The one Peter heard talking to his uncle is pressing a sweater over his chest, stained with blood while another woman is pressing her coat into his side

How I forgot to comment this?? I was sure I did. Well, here I am. So many feelings for this story, I love the start of this, I can't wait for the continuation. :D I need to know that Steve is going to be fine... after all he is a supersoldier, not a common human being like uncle Ben, right? So he's going to be fine, right? Poor Peter and Tony.

Sorry! I accidentally crashed my browser and lost my comment (part 3), I know, shame on me for writing in the comment box. Then life happened too...but I managed to get it back miraculously today so we are back up and running.

JSYK, I'm trying to restrict my POV's to one per comment, to save confusion, so some parts will be longer than others.

Steve has been shot, Steve is in the hospital, fuck, Steve could die.

Tony didn't know that exactly but in all the years Steve had been Captain America he had never sustained damage to his heart. Not like this.

Oh god, what if he needs something like..., Tony only lets his mind flick to his arc reactor for a second as he grabs his wallet and keys. He regrets that his thoughts even go there at all because now he believes, even if it's only for a moment, that it's a shallow possibility. Steve is perfect and flawless and it shakes Tony more than he wants to admit. He prays to whatever God there might be that Steve should be spared this fate
