Give me a scenario where Steve in training has to grab hold of one of others to swing them upwards and misses or loses grip. The team member just lands softly on the padding below with no injury. Everyone laughs off Captain America's mistake since they're all okay. But Steve is hopelessly lost in his flashback where he can't save Bucky.
He stays in the gym longer and longer trying to atone for his apparent failure. The others, at first, don't notice. But, when they leave their flexibility training on Monday and Steve stays, they are shocked when they enter the gym on Tuesday at the same time for a sparring session and Steve is *still there* It's been 24 hours and he's losing it.

Nice one, OP!

I would love to see Thor comforting him, having lost comrades in all those giant-ass battles.
