Erik is a 5th year Gryffindor, and would probably run into Avery at some point. It seems as though the two of them are bad with Divination, so maybe they could become friends while helping each other fake through their homework. Also, Erik is a muggleborn, and was never quite aware of his magical abilities. Maybe the two of them could bond over that. :)
What a coincidence! XD Yup I could definitely see them bonding due to their Muggle background. I did forget one thing however; I put down Avery'd worst subject as Divination even though she doesn't take the subject! :( (Personally I don't think Divination is such an important subject)
So let's just say that Avery took Divination in 3rd year and dropped it when she realised she was getting nowhere with it. But when she was frustrated with Divination in 3rd year, Erik was there to share with her his own predicament when it comes to the subject. How's that?
That sounds just right for the two of them. Since they aren't in the same year, I'd say that they like to chat in the common room every now and again. Does Avery play Quidditch? (Erik does not, he's not very athletic)
She doesn't play, but she's part of SSS or Secret Society of Soren. Not that she's a fangirl or anything; she developed a crush on the tall Quidditch player and teamed up with Fi McFinn, a Gryffindor 2 year, and before you know it, it has exploded to something quite big.
Oh and she loves flying, though she doesn't fancy the idea of getting killed by lunatic flying balls. Flying provides an outlet for her frustrations.
I think Erik and Avery would make great friends, 'cos they both seemed like the stubborn but caring kind.
Is Avery the type to get jealous? Zoe (6th year 'puff) is pretty good friends with Soren, so I thought there may be some jealousy on Avery's behalf?
She's also great friends with Tref. I was thinking that when Tref and Avery dated, perhaps Avery overheard Zoe teasing Tref about dating a third year (she's normally not mean, she would have been teasing him out of jealousy - she still has feelings for him) and since then, hasn't liked Zoe at all.
Hmm I think Avery wouldn't one to hold grudges. She knew when she dated Tref that there were gonna be rumours. Ooohh.. Is Zoe the other girl Tref dated when they were together or when they had just broken up? That would create some kind of tension.
Avery actually liked Soren a bit before she and Tref got together. But her feelings weren't made known, and she always felt that they were too different for them to actually get to know each other better. She'd probably be a little disappointed that Zoe's spending more time with Soren, but she's not one to get jealous.
Is Zoe the type to laugh openly at others? If yes then they could have a really tensed relationship, and Avery would try and avoid Zoe whenever she can. What do you think?
Nah, she wasn't the other girl, Zoe hooked up with him in her 4th year (which works out to be the year before Avery and Tref dated). And no, she's not the type to laugh at others, only if they've done something to upset her or her friends.
Maybe Zoe just wasn't very friendly when Avery and Tref were dating, so Avery figured Zoe hated her for some unknown reason?
I think Avery'd probably be surprised to find out that Zoe dislikes her so much. After all, Tref didn't really talked about his past relationships with her (at least, he doesn't seem like the type). Sounds good to me :)
So I'm commenting, but I don't exactly know what we could do with Lauren and Avery. I'm sure Lauren would have introduced herself Avery's first year, so they could have met then.
Lauren's the type to get along with just about everyone from her house, so its up to you on how close you want them to be. Lauren could possibly consider her like a younger sister? Or something! Any ideas from you would be awesome! XD
Well, I was readin Lauren's application and I thought they were kinda similar, except Avery's probably more private and stuff. But Lauren could so be her big sister-type of friend. She's not exactly sociable, except to those whom she thinks she could trust, and that's not many.
Um, Avery's first year/Lauren's 3rd year would be fine. Do you have a particular place that you wanna have them meet?
Yeah, Avery definitely seems to be more withdrawn than Lauren... but she's outgoing enough that she'd try to get the younger girl to open up to her. She loves winning over people's trust, and would be the type to give Avery all kinds of advice.
As for their meeting... I would think it would either be in the common room, or in the Great Hall during a meal. Lauren would make it a duty to introduce herself to all the first year Gryffs. :)
Hey hey! It's Emily (aka midnightdream__ or madison_bauer!) With my new character, Lexi! She's a sixth year Gryff so I figure maybe they know each other? Oddly enough, both of one of their parents were in fact murdered (In your case, Mum, and Lexi's case, Dad). Lexi just found out last summer that it wasn't an accident that killed her father.
Anyways, if you have any ideas popping up, let me know! :)
Hey! Of course, they'd know each other :D I was just about to comment on your backstory post actually.
So does Lexi know exactly who killed her father? Because Avery found out when she got accepted into Hogwarts that it was the DE's, so she's generally very bitter when it comes to blood snobs, Voldemort et cetera. Um.. Do you wanna just let them meet randomly, or do you have anything specific in mind?
Lexi didn't find out the truth until this past summer before she started 6th year. He was killed during her first year, and up until that, she was told that he died in an 'accident' at work. The truth, of course being it was a DE attack. Hmm, perhaps they met sometime before now? Just seeing as they've been in the same House for quite a while and only 2 years apart... *thinks*
I'm wrecking my brain now.. What's Lexi like? Bookworm, shy or friendly and stuff? We could play them bumping into each other in the Great Hall or let her help Avery along when she got lost in her first year or something.

Avery knows a few puffs herself, like Luciano and Mila, and Gabe, who's like her older brother type and just listens to her, mostly.
