Cat: use your words!

I'm trying to draft patterns here but "she" is acting more bizaare than usual, She keeps walking over my project (which I accept out of respect for her work as a member of "Cats Against Typing"), but what I dont understand is this new string of short sharp low-pitched quacky barks, in a completely nagging tone like madam is displeased but has told ( Read more... )

Allow me an attempt at translation...

"Pay attention to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Whatever you are doing cannot be as important as MEEEEEEEEEEEEE! What? Are you still persevering? WRONG! Look at MEEEEEEEEEEEE! You can't believe that stupid scrunchy paper thing is better than MEEEEEEEEEEEE? Wait. You are still not paying attention. Unacceptable. Look at MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Stop that. Look at MEEEEEEEEEEEE! Look at MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Right. Now feed me."

Hee! I was going to suggest as much, but you said it far better than I was going to!

Which was basically: you're doing it wrong by not paying any attention to her when she requires it.

Btw, worked out why Tabu may have effected me more than Shelley: apparently male cats tend to have more of the allergen. Never knew that.

Ooo, that's interesting. Possibly explains why I'm doing better with Velvet than the boy cats I've had before. I always assumed it was *just* because they had longer fur.

Cat critique?

When cats want attention, cats will ensure that they get it, especially if it incoveniences their minion.

Baggy's translation is far better though... ;o)

My cousin's cat throws everything off the table if he can't get the attention he requires - this is especially dramatic when the table has been laid for dinner with guests. As a result they no longer put anything breakable onto the table until everyone is actually sitting there.

Gemini, the saner of our two cats, hates pencil sharpeners and pencils. I can't leave them anywhere she can get at them or she knocks them on the floor and then stares at me as if to say "Ha! Write with your pencil *now* boy!"
