Sorry for all the questions! I kind of wish I could try to convince you to come to UMass, but being a good friend I won't do it. I'm afraid it might actually be a frozen wasteland here.

I know right! I am highly displeased with the level of cold inside of my house. I don't want to imagine what it will be like when it starts snowing.

If I do end up doing grad school here (I totally want to, but it will depend on if I can become fluent enough in a short enough amount of time - my life's goals don't really include living in Japan until I'm thirty, lol) I'll probably go ahead and do linguistics. UMass is still on my list of American potential grad schools, but I really hate the application process, and I haven't kept in touch with any of my professors for letters of recommendation, which is slightly troublesome. Foresight and preparation, I am good at it.

I'll be in Jax from Dec 22 through 30! We'll have to get together~~ also I can't even express how much I'm looking forward to central heating, haha.
