I'm in Jax and bored. Where is everyone?

I don't think I'm going to do many more day trips to NYC. I'm exhausted. That was a not so great combination of waking up early, running around all day, and getting back at 11:30. I did see some really awesome work though. But still. Exhausted.

Kind of interesting being in Manhattan on 9/11 as well.

So I did end up spending all day yesterday waiting on UPS. Supposed to come between 2 and 5, they show up at 6:45pm. I guess they got Monday and Tuesday's schedule switched. Oh well. I also had to fight with Bank of America, Comcast, and Best Buy. The Best Buy guy I eventually had to hang up on because after he answered my question he kept ( Read more... )

I got into U Mass at Amherst! Woooo! That was in my top 5! I got in I got in! The grad director called me, and I missed it, and I called her back, and she wasn't there. My senior show is in roughly 2 days. I think I've gotten over most of my freak out. I've been extremely tired, stressed, and on edge. Right now I'm just exhausted. I've been meaning to post for a while about my senior show. The date and place are finally set. It's going to be on Nov. 30th at the Atlantic Gallery, which is one of the hottest places to show now. I hate how when I'm working in studio and I can't stand the silence but all the music I put on gets on my nerves. I really need some non obtrusive back ground music. Maybe some good classical or something. It doesn't help that I'm really burnt out on this piece. My final crit is tomorrow, it's mostly done, and I'm sick of looking at it. I'm going to put some more of my art up on gainesville lj. This time I'm going to try to unload some of my stuff from high school. It makes me a little bit sad to see them go, but I really don't need to keep all this stuff around any more. I've got so much old art I'm storing and I could really use some money.
