Jump starts tomorrow morning bright and early at 0630 (after a 0515 wake-up). I'm looking forward to it, but I'm also pretty nervous about it 'cause I want to do well. Well, I'm back here at USAFA for at least the next 4.5 months. Today and yesterday were really tough days to get through, but somehow I managed. Leaving home after 3 weeks of practical paradise is never easy. Wow, that was a painful but fun ride. I biked for 2 hours, 58 minutes, and 51 seconds. It was the longest ride for me in over 6 months. Total mileage was around 40 miles, taking me to the intersection of Kennedy Pkwy and US1 near Oak Hill north east of Mims. Along the way I got passed by this green SUV that was clearly speeding. I got myself a nice little ipod today--now I can bring my Rocky music with me to my workouts, lol. It's a 2GB nano and can hold 500 songs---maybe someday I'll do a workout long enough to listen to all of them at once, lol ( Read more... )
