That Lady Was So Angry

I truly do think that Diet Pepsi is the supreme drink of mortals.  It's so, so much more delicious than any other diet soda.  I take a sip of Diet Coke these days and all I can think is, "This is extremely diet!"  But with Diet Pepsi, I just enjoy.  What a valuable thing.  That said, chocolate soymilk is a bit more boring than I would have expected ( Read more... )

Oh wow, that sounds really interesting. I think they may have had some kind of soy latte-ish stuff at Meijer, but it was far too scary for me to actually try any of it. Where do you procure said items?

the soy latte stuff is at our local grocery stores...and we have a lot of health food stores in richmond too. and our crazy version of china town...which is really just a small neighborhood with the houses turned into tiny asian markets. then there's tan-a...the big one where they have the tapioca ball stuffs and the drinks that taste like soap

which is probably more frightening than the soy latte-ish stuff you won't try..

For the record, it's usually called bubble tea and the tapioca balls are called "boba." Saint Louis just opened a couple of them, just never -ever- get egg pudding in it (unless you like swallowing slimy little chunks of egg in your beverage) and I sincerely recommend you avoid honeydew milk tea from such a place.

Regular soymilk will destroy your throat.
Try the chocolate with ice in it. (preferably with a straw. i dunno why but it works for me)

I am so tired. Classes suck.

Yeah, I requested that your professors give you a heavier courseload because you seemed just a bit too full of life.

But it will destroy you throat? I mean, I'm assuming you don't mean literally, but why is this? And what exactly do you mean? Am I drinking some acid horrible here?

Sorry about the confusion: I just think regular soymilk is disgusty. The only way I will consume it is on top of some yummy cereal. I know people that drink it though, and their throats are perfectly healthy. They just like the taste, I suppose.

If you get the chance, I'd try 8th Continent brand soymilk. I like the taste of their everything a lot more than Silk.

I've always thought you were cool. I guess I got frustrated when Jesse told me that the concensus about my last day was that I instigated lots of stuff, was making fun of everyone, etc. I assumed that you and Will had kind of teamed up and agreed that I was scrum--even though I don't think I necessarily did anything unforgiveable or even rude that day. What's your take on that whole deal?
