I am not dead. I am still in Lawrence, doing the full-time thing down at the Borders, and loving it. I'm living in a little apartment on west Sixth St., behind the Hy-Vee (where I no longer work). Last Fall, I found a big green caterpillar, and I took it home with me and put it in a box with some leaves, and it made a cocoon. I got the job!!! Ahhhh!!!! I start on Tuesday and I am already scheduled for more hours next week at Borders than I am at Hy-vee! I am so excited. I am nervous too, like always when starting a new job. But I have high expectations. I had my interview at Borders yesterday. I keep fluctuating between thinking it went really well, and thinking I said stupid things. I should find out early next week if I got the job.
