Dalton, you know you don't have to go to college. (even saying that, i can feel/hear the "but...." in my head). And it's a huge thing to consider all the reasons why you're there in conjunction with all that you've described. Institutions are called "institutions" for a reason, though. They've got set ideals, routines, standards, curriculum, etc that one who is involved with such a being immediately connects themselves to and it is your decision whether or not you want to be a part of that. I can argue that SFSU will teach you skills and create contacts for you that would be slow coming or difficult to obtain otherwise, but that's only true if one is not proactive and determined

but dude!!!!!! i guess i talked too much about the school thing and it totally sounds like i just don't want to do my homework. that's not the whole point. i guess i don't know exactly what my point is. i know i'm not in a negative state and nothing is keeping me in one, but there's something more to life than _____________________.
