[With the start of a new year - not to mention New Year's Eve passing again - and the cold weather, someone's been going a little stir-crazy lately. ...Mostly that middle statement, though. That's the second time that New Year's Eve has occurred since her awakening, and yet again what was supposed to happen didn't transpire.

Doesn't everyone? --I mean, it mightn't be very big for some people. But being here kind of puts everything on hold, doesn't it?

[That's... probably another one she can count. Seven.]

There... are still individuals who wish to accomplish their goal here. [She certainly wants to. She just can't because something required for it isn't present here.]

Eh? But, wouldn't it be better--well, I guess there would be a few people who wouldn't mind finishing it here. ...Or a few who couldn't accomplish it back home. But, for most people, wouldn't it be better to do it back home?

Affirmative. [Some people - like her - wouldn't mind accomplishing their goal here either, though. Some goals are still possible here... or would be, if certain things were present here, anyway.]

[Well, not everyone's going to think that way. She's a bit surprised that he's the first one to say "no," though.]

Acknowledged.

[...Isn't this the guy who gave her false information a year ago, actually? Huh.]

[Hey the info wasn't entirely false, he had the right building, just the wrong floor.]

[And he lied about his name. Can't forget that.]

...Affirmative. There... is something Nu is unable to do in this world.

And precisely what business is it of a doll?

[...That term again.]

...Insufficient information regarding the inquiry had been provided. [And she was admittedly curious if anyone else had a goal like that. So she might as well ask, right?]

Are you trying to claim that you were simply curious about such a thing?

Reply

awakenedchaos January 5 2011, 19:46:27 UTC
Affirmative. [There isn't always an ulterior motive for everything she does, Rachel.

...Though it's pretty easy to guess what brought this question on.]

[Voice] Why is it one of the less chars you know the first I throw at you?? flamesofanger January 5 2011, 06:39:12 UTC
I wouldn't call it a goal, it's a mission but I can't complete it here.

[So this should count.]

...A mission is acceptable. [As far as she's concerned, yes, it counts. Which brings the count to eight now.

...That's definitely more than she expected.]
