A thought worth entertaining, I must say

So I've thought about getting rid of my myspace and livejournal accounts. Facebook is a different story. People on Facebook seem to be more mature and less likely to use applications for slander and obscene behavior. Also, Facebook doesn't make me feel demoralized about society as opposed to Myspace and LJ which sometimes do. The thing is that ( Read more... )

Myspace, I guess I can agree with, but, don't give up LJ. Clean it, edit it, make it friends only, boot people off your friends list- whatever, but don't get rid of it. You will one day find that you regret it. I still read mine (obviously), and, I may not have posted in 300-something days or whatever, but, yesterday, I sat down, cleaned this puppy out and am getting ready to start writing in it again.

I- and, I dare say most people like me- have had similar thoughts as yours. I had a conversation yesterday, as a matter of fact, about how I hate that more and more, I have a harder and harder time relating to people our age. They just get it- and more than that, they don't seem to care that they don't get it. It's annoying. It's frustrating. It's incredibly juvenile. It's our generation.

Well the fact that we both share these thoughts means that there are some of us out there who can get it and be mature and relate to one another. I'm glad you're going to start writing again. I'll stick around. :) thanks for responding.
