Really? In Portland? Where? That's surprising, I never get that sense of rush and lack of communication.

I have been the the 'pearl' 'goose hallow' '23rd' 'Mississippi' 'china town' and I just have been so small town that I have been smiling at people as I walk by and start talking to the people next to me in line.

Met my eyes that clearly do not know 'where in the world' I am from.

It just always takes me a while to get use to the city life all over again.
