My mom just gave me her saphire ring.
It's gold with diamonds and a saphire in the middle :)

I was wearing a Lia Sophia ring similiar to it, but it turned my finger green.
I paid like fifty bucks for it too.

Oh well, now I will have two REAL rings <3

I have to go get it resized though.

Mom gave you that ring???!!!! WOW! That's a pretty ring.

Now you have two stones that are on a 9 on the hardness rating scale. That means only diamonds are harder. And actually, there are no other gemstones that are a 9 -- the rest are all softer.

Incidentally, rubies and sapphires are actually the same stone, just different colors. Thought you'd like to know.

haha wow, I didn't know that.

I'm so excited to get it resized and to wear it.
I love my ruby ring, I wear it EVERYDAY.
I'm going to wear the sapphire ring on my other hand :)
