Well haven't been around lj in a while, so I decided to start it off with a new layout.

ploop333This is my layout test journal, their really is no theme, I just found a cool shark graphic from a desktop website and needed to make a layout to match

I really like that a lot. I say 8. It looks like the text is kinda moved over to one side, I can't tell if its a browser thing or a layout thing. I like it though. :)

Its a browser thing, Mozilla seems to push over the text by a pixel or two. I've tried to compensate but yeah, it does look a tad bit off.

Those dots by the Shark's tail look like they could be navigation. You should take advantage of that

Anyway, I love it. It's definately "awesome". There sure is a lot of empty space however, especially on larger resolutions. It's a shame there isn't a gradient or something like with the rest of your layout. That's the only real complaint, really.

You read my mind, I orginally made those circles to be the links out, and their would be these ccool rollover which made the gradient in the circle switch color, but I never got around to it. Maybe I'll change it to put some fun "extra" links after I get rated. I was just afraid people wouldn't be able to find the navigation in the circles. Plus, the top right looked empty so I put navigation there.

And I had a gradient going from Orange to Blue from top to bottom, but I'd have to make the header really long for it to continue. I tried a gradient from left to right, but it just didn't work.
