do people grow apart or do they give up?

I've always wondered this.

do people grow apart or do they give up?

I think it's frequent that first comes the former, then the latter. Unless they're really determined to rekindle their flame.

And I'm sorry you have no moola right now. I hope that somewhere far far away a very very distant rich-ass relative twice removed, dies, and you inherit every penny.

But...I don't want anyone to die :P

hahaha thanks hail! things actually worked out. he told me he wouldn't get paid until after the rent was due... sending us into a frenzy since we ate into our savings. BUT, it turns out he gets paid the day before it's due.

awesome!

Yeah, you better add at the end that you're not that poor. Jesus. At least you can go grocery shopping. I have to scrap together spare dollars to make sure we have enough to buy some chicken for that night. To be honest, you're lucky you only have a $300 bill. You're also WAY over reacting. That bill could have been THOUSANDS and you could have been screwed. But as it is now, you can recover from all of it. At the worst, they'll send you to the collection agency and they'll collect the $300 from you and you'll be done with it. No harm. So chill the fuck out. You need to smoke a bowl or have a beer or something. Life gets SUPER hard, you just deal with it. At the WORST you die. *shrug* Other life goes on.

I can't believe you ever had $1500 in the bank at a time. The only time we've ever had something like that was at tax times. $20 in my pocket is a fucking GOD SEND. Ugh. Why do I use so many godly holy terms when I don't mean any of them litterally? It pisses me off.

if they turn you over to a collection agency, it goes against your credit... and when you try to purchase a house, car, furniture, or some other remotely large item, you either get rejected, period... or you get a huge interest rate. paying interest on bills is wasted money. so it may have been much more than just $300 ( ... )

If that one bills goes to a collection agency and you have to pay it off, YEARS down the road when you buy a house, I doubt they would deny you over the $300. Especially if you've already paid it back and have worked on your credit more since then. Do you plan on buying a house next year? Probably not, so you have time to work on it ( ... )

you'll get to the point when you're able to save later down the line... unfortunately, you guys are just being forced to struggle for this portion of life. luckily, when you are able to finally save, you will cherish it like no other because you will know what it's like to have next to nothing.
