ctrl-t in emacs. Apparently "xp" in vi...which isn't a transpose so much as a one-letter copy and paste.

Finally found a good use for this command: changing the * association style when you're moving from a C++ code base that associates *s with the variable to one that associates them with the type (or vice versa).

To htang's ire, last night I decided to act on her suggestion about using an old bedsheet to make a pillowcase. I hadn't done anything random for a while.
