[The feed shows a white mech, the hilt of a Great Sword visible behind his helm. He does not look pleased.]
Need some information about this Arena.
[Drift is not one to really think about, you know, consequences of his actions. His flashy resignation from Turmoil's command is proof of that. He may have seen the light as to who he's fighting and why

[Have a smirking Skywarp. Who... is probably going to be about as helpful as a case of Cosmic Rust.]
And it's an arena. Like, you fight in it. How hard is that? [And there goes the implication that you must be stupid.]

...or something.
[A smile.]
Thank you. I already know the obvious.

Pfft. If that's your aim, I think you should just off yourself right now. You, killin' him?
[Oh, Skywarp's not seen too much of the Megatron who calls himself Magnum, but it's a Megatron. That would require a Prime.]
So why ask then?
[There's a brief grimace; he doesn't really get it.]

[Close enough.]
I'll take that suggestion under advisement.
[Meaning he'll consider the source and then ignore it. ]
To learn the not-obvious.

[Jazz frowns slightly.]
Magnum comes from early in the war, way early, like back when it was just a budding revolution. As far as I know, none of the Autobots know where his base here is. He's managed to keep it pretty quiet.

[He's still trying to figure out these complicated TransTech rules for Outworlders. It seems a strange thing to tolerate. He shrugs.]
Suppose there's no loss to the Transtechs letting us kill each other for something they can tax.
[It sounds nauseatingly like the old Cybertron.]
Sunstreaker. Fights for Magnum. [That gets a severe frown.]
[Drift is more than a little dismayed by the next bit of information. So Magnum was closest to the Megatron he knew so well.
[It didn't matter. He knew what that mech turned into: he knew what he turned into.]
Known weaknesses?

I haven't been there myself, but last I heard about it, the arena has a 'no kill' rule. Of course, they can always claim it was an accident but I suspect that's why the Transtechs aren't bothered by it.
[He's a little rusty on the rules.]
Sunstreaker fights for himself. Magnum just happens to pay him if he wins. [There's a very, very fine line there. Jazz knows it but he'll give Sunstreaker the benefit of the doubt.]
As far as I know he's every bit as skilled now, as he is later on. All of his fighting, his ruthlessness, it was all from the arenas. Only difference is he still has something of a conscience. I haven't talked to him to know how much of one.
Really, you should talk to Optronix about him. He's talked to Magnum more than I have. He'd know.

I told it to him, and I'll say it again. I'm fighting because I like it. And it pays. It's what I did before the Decepticons started messing everything up.
I'm not fighting for him. I'm never going to fight for him.
[As annoyed as he sounds... this is actually an agreement. He is, surprisingly enough, seconding your statement, Jazz.]
[... In his own way.]
