A Red Army for a red future

A gloomy look cast into the war council room returned the same view: among the drab tapestries of heartache and hopelessness sat he, staring blindly down at the city plan of Berlin, hardly shifting in the despair that had settled like a fine dust throughout the bunker. Exactly like the same fine dust that had worried its way into the ( Read more... )

Okay, mate. I know a lot more about these things than you, and I KNOW the Red Army is the Russians. Why do you think they are shown blowing a city to smithereens and burying people alive with the subject "A Red Army for a red future"? CUZ THEY'RE KILLING EVERYTHING. And when people die, they bleed red.

Dude. You fucked UP.

*snorts derisively*

It's actually about Adolf's final days. I was watching a documentary on it (I've read about it before, though), and it hit me so hard. They threw in all this strong language and used the same old tired accusations of being an insane madman, meant to turn the viewer's heart against his, but I sat there and - believe it - wept over his desperate death. No one cares for him now that he's in the spirit world. That makes me so incredibly depressed.

What were the cyanide tablets for, if they were just going to kill themselves?

To be absolutely sure they'd be dead. Somehow, people who have taken guns to their skulls and fired have lived afterwards, probably because their hand shook, maybe from fear. It takes a strange sort of courage to be able to do that to yourself.

Can you cut yourself? If you treid, could you purposefully prick your finger? (This is hypothetical) It's really, REALLY hard...I can't imagine what killing yourself is like.

Well, I sure do HOPE I could prick my own finger, though I hate watching those crazy diabetics do it all the time. I'd prick it to sign some kind of Blood Pact (which we should TOTALLY do - I'm rather surprised we haven't yet, actually. Or sacrficed any maidens to Poseidon.), but otherwise, I'm all for unpunctured epidermis'!
