Rasputina is a group of three people: two girls and one guy. I think one girl and the guy play cello and the other girl sings. They're pretty awesome, but if you aren't fond of Goth-type music, then you might not like them. The lyrics are deliriously malfunctional at best. My cellist friend pointed 'em out to me. Rasputina are definitely out there, but I really like cellos, their voices are like the rumbling of oaks attempting to lift their roots. Not quite deep enough to be traveling redwoods, and not quite as heavy, but still as emotive and surprising.
