Yesterday I went for a walk. Actually, I was walking home from downtown, but kept walking past my house instead of stopping. It was nice out and I felt like seeing if there was anything interesting.

There are a lot of images to show you, and it will take up a lot of space on the screen, so I have decided to link to all the photos instead. Last night I randomly decided to try and cure salmon at home. What was needed? 6 cups of sea salt and sugar with white pepper, baby dill and italian parsley. Every time I pass by Fernwood on the #22 I look out the window and admire a pub very close to my house. Formerly the 'George and Dragon Pub', it's new name is the Fernwood Inn. This past Saturday, we all decided to take the short walk from our house to the pub and finally check it out.
