My apartment is way too quiet. Just about everyone i know is off to Europe or some other country for another week or so. Mihaly suggested having a party here or something, but i'm not quite sure who all i would invite. I also don't drink, so i don't know how well that would work. Summer nationals are just around the corner for fencing. I had a tough qualifying battle to get there, as i really messed up in pools. Thankfully with the help of Simon (Sword Master of DFA) i pulled out of my funk in the DE's. Its almost crazy to think how much someone rooting for you and helping you out on the strip can help. Paycheck received, i am now loaded. w00t. Gonna do some fencing shopping soon. This = the awesome. I think i'm getting a new jacket and mask first, can't stand the smell of the ones i have now. So workage is good, a wee bit scary sometimes. I guess this is mostly because my boss is a wee bit unhappy with the other engineer. Good news is that i get to work on a cool new product, and have a lot of ability to put what i want on it. So an oil change turned into a real job for me. I'm working in Davis at a company called JK micro. Board layout and schematics. Big bugs = good and a great company. Schweet!

Still don't have a real job, and its been an extraordinarily crappy week. As i don't like to vent too much publically, I will say that watching star trek at Andrea's was good fun. Great show, too bad they don't make good sci fi any more. Ah well, to those who don't already know, i just proved my geekiness! Ta Daaa!
