Welcome.
This is my pretty-much-permanent introduction post, geared towards those who are not habitual LiveJournal users -- family friends, relatives, ex-professors, people who get my mommy's Christmas letter etc. LJers please comment to this post, so I know who reads it!

I was procrastinating from work this afternoon by thinking about the upcoming start of the Endgame season (I NPC. Sometimes). I went poking around to see who had "Endgame" as an interest (did I mention that I was procrastinating? I'm really good procrastinating when I want to be), and LO! There you were. Your grammar icon captivated me, so after spending 5 captivated minutes watching it (The Panda says NO!!), I decided to actually read a post or two. I read this one and thought, "Nah, I'm not motivated enough to comment, and I have absolutely no idea who this is", and then I read your next (unlocked) post, and I decided I just had to comment.

Incidentally, and on an entirely unrelated note, did I mention that I went to my very first Roller Derby ever last weekend? It was the Cosmonaughties vs. the Nutcrackers in the PLAYOFFS! It was a lot of fun. It started a little slow - there just wasn't as much energy for the exhibition game -- but the main event was a blast.
