“The company has gone great lengths to get you this role. I, personally, have worked my ass off as well!” the anxious, bordering on hysteria actually, voice yelled on the other end of the phone which Jaejoong had clutched between his ear and shoulder as he balanced a shopping basket in one hand while looking at a product off the shelf. “Your audition went brilliantly from what I heard. Now I expect you to accept the role when the call comes, you hear me, Kim Jaejoong?”
“Yes, yes, I hear ya.” Jaejoong mumbled into the phone. His manager, Dongshin, made a huge fuss out of everything. Just because he offhandedly made a statement about his doubts on accepting a role for an upcoming movie, his manager simply interpreted that as possibly rejecting the role and went on lecture him on how important this role was for his career as well as the company. Well, why wouldn’t it be? Afterall, the director of the movie had cast two very skilled actors in the Korean entertainment industry and it was believed that anything these actors touched turned into gold. Jaejoong should count his lucky stars if he does get a call from the casting director.
“I want to be hearing good news, Jaejoong-ah!” with that, Dongshin hung up finally after what felt like hours of nagging, leaving Jaejoong to his few and far in between grocery shopping trips. Now what else did he need to put into his shopping basket…
He walked over to the medical section of the store, the section that he wanted to avoid but also the reason that prompted this grocery shopping trip. He needed to buy a you-know-what test kit. He didn’t want to even say the word out loud. He had been having his suspicions; he just wanted to confirm that he worrying over nothing. Jaejoong had been going steady his new lover, Lee Jongyun, for the past 6 months, longer than any of his previous flings. They were at a really great place in their relationship and Jaejoong did not want to screw it up. Lee Jongyun was an actor Jaejoong had picked up with the intention of having a mere hook-up as he had known the actor’s reputation well; frequent one night-stands and extreme repulsion to relationships. That night was spent in throes of passion however it didn’t end the next morning as Jongyun came back for more despite his own protocols of never sleeping with a same person twice. As time passed, the two agreed to get into a relationship despite their initial impressions of each other. Then, a couple of nights ago, something happened and their post-coitus bliss had been dampened by a broken rubber. Now this test would really determine if Jaejoong and Jongyun had any place to go as a couple. Jaejoong hastily shoved a random test kit into his shopping basket and quickly went to make his payment.
Throwing the shopping bags into the backseat of the car, Jaejoong settled himself in the driver’s seat but did not start the engine. Instead, he breathed out a long withheld sigh. The pace of his life was plunging far ahead of him with this movie dealing, Jongyun and this potential…baby. He did not even want to think that far. This movie deal was fine, he had been anticipating some work in the acting field since his previous album’s promotion had come to an end and knew how to deal with the pressure of switching directions. However, he didn’t know what to make out of this relationship with Jongyun and this potential problem. Almost everyone had warned him about Jongyun and given him a thousand and one reasons why he shouldn’t get together with him. He’s a player they said, he will hurt you they said. Yoochun was the most disapproving one of their relationship. His best friend! He claimed that he knew Jaejoong long enough to know which people were good for him and which weren’t. Yoochun’s instinct said that Jongyun was a person Jaejoong should steer clear off. But then again, no one could match to u-know-who for Jaejoong according to Yoochun. Then again, Jongyun had agreed to this relationship which could be possible indication that he had left his playboy days behind. In any case, Jaejoong was pretty sure Jongyun and he had a future together as long as there was no baby in the picture. With that positive thought in mind, Jaejoong started the engine and drove home.
--
Dumping the grocery bag onto the table, Jaejoong fished out the test kit, wanting this ordeal to done and over with as soon as possible as he headed to the washroom.
By the time he came out, waiting for the stick to determine his fate, his phone had started ringing. The name of the casting director of the upcoming film flashed onto his screen. Well, at least, he wouldn’t have to spend time doing nothing while waiting for the dreaded results. Jaejoong braced himself and picked up the phone with nervous hands.
“Hello, Jaejoong-ah?” the friendly voice of the director sounded from the other end.
“Ah, good evening, Dongyup-shi, so nice to hear from you,” Jaejoong replied, his confident voice veiling his nervous feelings.
“Nice to talk to you too. Look, I have great news for you! We want to cast you for role of Choi Hyun, what do you say?” the director’s happy voice was now filled with hope as well, hoping really hard that Jaejoong would say yes. With Jaejoong’s answer, they would be more or less done with the casting procedure and could proceed with filming soon.
“That’s great! I would be more than happy to accept your offer.” Indeed, Jaejoong did feel happy about landing the role. Working with two other great actors and with a well-written script, he would have been foolish to decline the role.
“Super! We will be sending you the script soon.” Dongyup informed, his own happiness unhidden.
“Thanks. I will be looking forward to it.” Yup, Jaejoong could just imagine the oncoming days, filled with script reading and rehearsals.
“Alright then, we will be keeping you updated with the rest of the details and information.” Dongyup summed up. “And, welcome to the family, Jaejoong-ah.”
“Thanks, Dongyup-shi.” And with that, both parties said goodbye.
So elated by the fact he had confirmed his role in the upcoming movie, Jaejoong could just imagine the hectic but fun days ahead. He better start thinking of all the people he had to call to spread the good news. JYJ members, his parents, his sisters and his nagging manager of course. They would be so pleased to hear of this. Even Jongyun would be happy for him.
Although his smile turned a little sour when he saw the not so innocent stick lying on his washroom countertop beckoning him to lift it and see his predicament if any.
‘Well, here goes nothing.’ Jaejoong thought as he lifted the stick of doom.
It showed a plus sign. Jaejoong hoped it didn’t mean what it meant. He scrambled for the test kit, looking for the instructions. His eyes nervously searched for the symbol he was looking for.
Plus…plus…plus…meant…positive. Positive. Positive meaning he was…was he? It couldn’t be! Really? Jaejoong’s eye alternated between the test stick and the instructions. His predicament was right there. No, no, no, he had to take the test again; there was a high chance of this being a case of a false positive. So he took the test again and once again the same plus sign mocked him.
He was going to have a baby like it or not.
--
“Are you sure?” Yoochun asked as he nursed his third round of whiskey. He looked at his best friend seated in front of him. Ruffled hair, bloodshot eyes, sunken cheeks, sickeningly pale complex, he looked nothing like the super star he was supposed to be. In fact, Yoochun didn’t look so good himself after being forced to be awake most of the night and drinking. He had received a call from a panicky Jaejoong who said nothing but the fact that he was coming over in fifteen minutes as they needed to talk urgently.
“Yeah, I took the test twice.” Jaejoong sighed. Neither of them paid attention when Jaejoong took the glass of whiskey into his hands and lifted it up his lips. It wasn’t unlike the usual. However, as soon as the taste of alcohol touched Jaejoong’s tongue, he paused as he realized what he was doing. Yoochun’s eyes widened as he quickly snatched the glass from him. Jaejoong spat back the gulp he took, disgusting Yoochun in the process who kept the whiskey glass far away from them.
“You should go to the doctor the next thing tomorrow and get it confirmed.” Yoochun advised as his best friend sighed once again and buried his face into his folded arms.
“And then what?” Jaejoong asked, voice muffled from where his head was buried.
“What what?”
“What if there is a baby, what do I do?” Jaejoong raised his head, panic once again starting to show in his eyes.
“Wait 9 months until the kid pops out?” Yoochun offered.
“Wait, you mean to say that I should keep the baby?” Jaejoong asked.
“You mean you were planning to abort?!” Yoochun yelled.
“No…but it is an option as well.”
“Look, I know I’m your best friend and all. I’m supposed to be giving you advice. But honestly, I believe the other father should have a say in this no matter how much of a douchebag I believe he is. He is the parent after all.”
“You know what his answer is going to be.”
“See, told you, he is a douchebag.”
“Yoochun…this isn’t helping.”
“I know, I know, I’m sorry.” Yoochun sighed. “But, you have to discuss this with him first.”
“You’re right, I should. He’s coming over for dinner tomor- today, I will talk to him then.” Jaejoong decided as he glanced at the clock which read 4 am.
“Alright, let’s get some shut eye for now and we will deal with this again later.” Yoochun suggested as he stood up, taking Jaejoong by the arm and leading them in his bedroom.
--
“Ahh~” Jongyun sighed as he settled onto the couch with a wine glass in his hand. “It’s good to be back home.” Jongyun had just come back from a 2 week shoot in Japan which had finally wrapped up his filming for his upcoming movie. As soon as he landed in Korea, he had instructed the driver to bring him to Kim Jaejoong’s house who had promised him a delicious Korean meal and loads of loving over the phone a couple of days ago before his arrival. Now with his stomach full with Jaejoong’s delicious cooking, Jongyun finally let the laziness seep into his tired bones. Once Jaejoong had finished cleaning up, Jongyun used his free arm and drew Jaejoong close to his side, cuddling him softy, something he wouldn’t have done with any of his partners before.
“I missed you, Joongie,” Jongyun mumbled into Jaejoong ear before drawing him in for a sweet kiss. The two made out lazily for a while, Jongyun’s wine glass abandoned on the side table as his hands wound around Jaejoong who was practically onto his lap. Soon enough, it become a bit more than just making out as Jongyun’s hands started roaming up and down Jaejoong’s sides and finally into his shirt. Jaejoong allowed himself the pleasure. His eyes started to close as he took in the moment. However, before it could get any further, Jaejoong’s eyes snapped open as he stopped Jongyun’s hands from going down further when he finally remembered that there was something important to discuss.
“Jae…” Jongyun looked surprised and confused. “Is something wrong…?” His narrowed eyes staring into Jaejoong’s own eyes which seemed to glaze over with sudden nervousness and fright.
“Erm…” Jaejoong started but couldn’t find the words to break the news to his lover. He lifted himself off Jongyun’s lap, distancing himself a little from his lover before his hands started fidgeting with his half opened shirt, his eyes no longer able to meet Jongyun’s.
“Jae, you’re worrying me now.” Jongyun looked even more confused than before especially when Jaejoong distanced himself from him. Jongyun not wanting that distance between them grabbed Jaejoong’s hand which forced him to look up to Jongyun again.
“I don’t know how to tell you this…” Jaejoong tried to muster up his courage.
“Tell me what? Did something happen while I was gone?” Jongyun asked, now sounding a little desperate since Jaejoong was taking so long to tell him this pressing issue.
“Before you left for Japan, you know you came over here and we had a little quickie…” Jaejoong explained and Jongyun urged him to go on by slowly nodding having no idea where this was going.
“Yeah well, you know the rubber broke right?” Jaejoong continued and Jongyun hoped that this was not going where he thought it was going.
“And, well, um…” Jaejoong stuttered. “Well, I’m pregnant.”
Silenced ensued once Jaejoong broke the news to Jongyun. He continued staring at Jaejoong before shifting away from him and looking in another direction. Jaejoong did not know how to take Jongyun’s silence. Was he surprised, upset or angry? Jaejoong continued fidgeting with his shirt as this sinking feeling continued to build in his stomach causing his eyes to well up. He wished that Jongyun would just say something.
“Jaejoong.” And he did after getting over the initial shock of the news. “Are you sure?”
“Y-yeah…” Jaejoong replied as he felt his throat closing up when wave of emotion hit him as soon as Jongyun spoke. “I went to the doctor’s this morning, they confirmed it.”
“Shit Jaejoong,” Jongyun cursed. “You know we can’t have a baby.”
“We have to think of our careers and our future!” Jongyun exclaimed. “I’m not ready to be a dad; I’m way too busy for that.”
“I-I know…” Jaejoong sniffed, tears finally leaking out.
“Hey, hey, hey…”Jongyun faced Jaejoong again enveloping him into a hug. “There is no need to cry.”
“I just need you to answer one question for me.” Jongyun said as he ran his hand up and down Jaejoong’s back comfortingly. “Do you want this baby?”
Jaejoong looked up at Jongyun through the tears in his eyes. “I don’t know…”
“As a singer or actor, as a part of the entertainment industry, you don’t want this baby, Jaejoong.” Jongyun advised. “It will be the fall of your career which by the way isn’t much at the moment. After which, it would just be a downward spiral and there won’t be any getting out of it. Plus I don’t think you are ready to be a parent just yet.”
Jaejoong wanted to argue, he wanted to argue so bad. He wanted to tell Jongyun that he was being too career driven but the arguments Jongyun presented had truth to them. On top of that, Jaejoong himself did not know how to feel about the situation except for being confused. He didn’t feel anything for the baby yet but he also knew that he had been putting his career ahead of everything else recently and he did not want to turn into a career maniac as well.
“So what should we do?” He asked Jongyun instead.
“I’ll book you a doctor’s appointment and we’ll get rid of it.” Jongyun declared. “We don’t need another problem in our lives, Jaejoong-ah.”
Jaejoong felt uneasy. Uneasy at how Jongyun was taking charge of everything, uneasy that he didn’t get a chance at voicing his own opinion of having a baby and finally uneasy that he couldn’t figure out how he was feeling as the situation unfolded.
“Let’s go to bed, I’m tired and I don’t feel like dealing with this any longer.” Jongyun said as he too took Jaejoong by the arm and led them into their bedroom.
--
“WHAT?!” The voice at the other end of the line screeched. “You’re actually going through what he said?”
“Yes, Yoochun, I got my abortion pill from the doctor today.” Jaejoong said as he continued fixing his messy recording room. Seriously, these lyrics sheets were all over the place.
“Dang, Jaejoong, have you spoken to anyone else about this? Your mother or your sisters for example?” Yoochun suggested unable to believe that Jaejoong was simply going to kill an innocent life before it had a chance of living and he wasn’t going to tell anyone about it.
“They don’t need to know about every detail of my life, Yoochun-ah. Once I take the pill it would be like nothing happened alright?” Jaejoong was starting to feel a little snappy. First he had Jongyun telling him what he should do and now Yoochun was doing the same.
“Oh but it did happen alright.” Yoochun said. “I still can’t believe you.”
“Yoochun, I happen to agree with Jongyun on this one. This baby is only going to cause problems to my career and to JYJ’s career for that matter. As you already know, we aren’t getting the gigs we want anyway so do you really want me to make matters worse? On top of that, I’m only 28, I’m not ready to be a parent at all.” Jaejoong argued, trying to convince both Yoochun and himself that it was indeed the truth.
“Alright, you’re entitled to your opinion but just so you know you are going to kill a life before it even had a chance to life. An innocent life that deserved it’s right to life despite its parent’s idiocy. And as for not being ready to be a parent, Jaejoong-hyung, I don’t know who you are trying to fool because I clearly remember you wanting children when you were together with Yun-” Yoochun got cut off as Jaejoong hung up on him once he heard that name.
“Damn it Yoochun.”
--
Jaejoong stared at the pill in his hands. As soon as he swallowed the pill, all his problems will go away except for one that Yoochun had planted in his head. The one about killing an innocent life and depriving him of the child he had always wanted. Jaejoong always pictured having a perfect family -a husband and kids to call his own. Of course, he had suppressed these fantasies because of the issues that surrounded his life. In fact keeping these urges bottled-up for so long, he had come to believe he no longer wanted that perfect life anymore. Until now, when Yoochun brought up his name and the fact he was step closer to achieving a part of his long dead dream.
Jaejoong set the pill back onto the counter and sighed. He knew the sooner he took the pill the better it would be or else his mind would become infested with opposing thoughts and that never ended well. A part of him had started to yearn for this child already but he knew that circumstances were just not right.
Jaejoong cradled his head into his hands; he just didn’t know anything anymore.
“Jae?” Jongyun’s voice called out from him as he entered the apartment using his own keys. Damn it! Jaejoong wanted to do this before Jongyun came over.
“In here!” Jaejoong replied. He would have to do this later then.
“Hey, babe,” Jongyun came over and kissed Jaejoong on the lips. “I picked up some food for tonight, thought we could eat in.”
“Hey…what’s all this?” Jongyun scanned over the counter top which was filled with boxes of medication and papers containing instructions.
“Oh, yeah, all this…” Jaejoong scratched the back of his head, “I went to the doctor’s today and he gave me the pill.”
“Oh.” Jongyun stared at them solemnly. “Have you…?”
“Not yet.” Jaejoong answered, he knew Jongyun was asking if he had taken the pill yet.
“Oh okay.” Jongyun said with absolutely no emotion in his voice.
“Let me just clear up the mess here and then we’ll go-” “Jaejoong.”
“Yeah?” Jaejoong looked up from the box he was trying to put away.
“Do you want this baby?” Jongyun asked suddenly.
“Wh-why are you asking me this again?” To say Jaejoong was shocked at what Jongyun asked was an understatement.
“Do you or do you not?” He asked again.
“Jongyun…I…” Jaejoong stuttered for words, what was Jongyun driving at?
“Do or do not?”’
Jaejoong stared at Jongyun. Damn it! It was the weird feeling again like his heart was sinking and a part of him was dying. Immediately, he felt tears in his eyes well up.
“…yes.” Jaejoong choked. “I do.” There he said it. He was trying his best not let this want come up but Jongyun had managed to pull it out of him.
Jongyun closed his eyes and sighed. He could hear Jaejoong sobbing silently. He stalked over to the counter, grabbed the pill and trashed it.
“Jongyun?!” Jaejoong exclaimed as he witnessed what Jongyun had done.
“Kim Jaejoong, I want to have this baby with you.” Jongyun declared just before he meshed their lips together.
That night the two lovers made love over and over again with no barriers between them.
--
“What made you change your mind?” The two lay lazing around in bed the next morning, their naked bodies on top of each other.
“About whether to go for that fifth round?” Jongyun smirked as Jaejoong hit him lightly on the chest.
“No, I mean this!” Jaejoong said as he yanked Jongyun’s hand over his abdomen.
“Oh that.” Jongyun sobered up. “Well, Kim Jaejoong, you will be glad to know that you’re probably the first person in this world who has made me feel this way and there is no one else whom I would like to have a baby with.”
“Gosh, had I known you’d be so cheesy.” Jaejoong grimaced.
“It’s true though.” Jongyun replied with a straight face, ever so serious.
Jaejoong merely laughed and captured Jongyun’s lips into another kiss.
“Now, how much do I have pay to wake up to this every morning?” Jongyun continued with his cheesiness.
“Oh, I don’t know…probably in gold and diamonds.” Jaejoong answered back laughing. Jongyun joined in but soon enough the two fell into momentarily silence savouring the moment.
“Jongyun?”
“Hmm?”
“You know we can’t continue our secret relationship since there is going to be a baby right?” Jaejoong realized as he traced lazy circles on Jongyun’s chiselled chest.
“I know, I have thought about that too. I guess we need to start telling people one by one.” Jongyun sighed realising how much of an uproar there was yet to come.
“We would have to tell our families, our friends, our colleagues…and the media and our fans,” Jaejoong shuddered when he thought of the media and fans. It was going to be like wildfire. The media will have a field day and the fans will have a heart attack.
“As for telling the media and our fans, I want to do it through my movie premiere. Just think of all the publicity the movie will get.” Jongyun was proud of the way his mind worked. Not only will he be able to tell the world that he was dating Kim Jaejoong and was having a baby with him, he would be able to promote his movie at the same time.
“Do you think we should do through our PRs? A simple announcement perhaps?” Jaejoong suggested as he thought of the terrifying consequences of going to a movie premiere as Jongyun’s date.
“Jae darling, have I ever done things in a quiet simple manner?” Jongyun asked rhetorically because everything Jongyun did had an impact and coming out with his relationship with Jaejoong was not going to be a quiet affair either. Jaejoong knew this and he also knew that there wasn’t arguing against it.
“Oh! I completely forgot!” Jaejoong grasped suddenly remembering something really important.
“What is it?”
“Dongyup-shi called the other day and said I got the role of Choi Hyun!” Jaejoong exclaimed, he was waiting so early to tell this news to his lover but the baby issue was the only thing he could think about recently.
“Really?! Congrats Jae!!!” Jongyun hugged Jaejoong tightly. He was genuinely happy that Jaejoong got the role because he had also played a part in pulling strings to get the audition for Jaejoong.
“But the baby…” Jaejoong’s smile fell. He was afraid that his condition would eventually get him kicked off the role.
“Well, you have to talk to Dongyun-shi about this. If they can arrange something that would be great.” Jongyun comforted his lover.
“I just hope they don’t kick me off the role.” Jaejoong pouted.
“Don’t worry, everything we will be fine.”
--
Jaejoong’s head was buzzing. It was a good thing that his manager was driving him to the script reading venue because he wouldn’t have been able to locate the place with all these thoughts in his head. Jongyun and he had just come out to their families about them dating and having a baby over dinner a couple days ago. Things had actually gone better than expected with both sets of parents who were just glad that their sons were finally settling down. However, things hadn’t gone too well with their friends and companies. When he told Junsu about him having a baby, he had been worried about Jaejoong’s image and their future together as JYJ but thankfully his joy of Jaejoong finally finding that special someone had overcome his sceptical feelings. Their company was another story, his manager, Dongshin had been angry that Jaejoong was going to let their efforts go to waste since there was a chance that the movie gig may not work out after all which was exactly the reason why he was accompany Jaejoong to the script writing to convince the producers otherwise. Jongyun’s company had reacted similarly, voicing out their claims that this scandal of theirs will inevitably damage Jongyun’s reputation but Jongyun had eventually convinced them that they could use this occasion as a very big publicity opportunity. Thankfully, the staff had calmed down a little after hearing the strategic plan.
“Well, this is it.” Dongshin said as he parked the car and followed Jaejoong to the holding room.
“Ah, Jaejoong ah, you’re here!” Dongyun claimed as Jaejoong stepped in with his manager. “Just on time! Well, Hyun Bin and Seung Hoon shi just arrived as well. Let me show you the conference room then we can get started and…”
“Dongyup-shi wait!” Jaejoong exclaimed before Dongyup could go on and on. “I need to tell you something important before we start anything.”
“Yes, Jaejoong-shi, I’m all ears.” Dongyup said smilingly.
“Well, could we move to a more private place…?”
--
“So, what did they say?” Jongyun asked as they settled down onto the couch after having dinner.
Jaejoong grinned at him. “They still want me to play Choi Hyun!” Jongyun grinned right back.
“Hey! That’s great news!” He kissed Jaejoong on the cheek. “What convinced them?”
“Well, the shoot wouldn’t run longer than 6 months, so I wouldn’t be too obviously pregnant in most scenes. And coincidently my character happens to get knocked up mid-way so it’s almost too happy a chance that I would be showing by then.” Jaejoong was all grins, he was so glad everything was going to work out. His family approved of him settling with Jongyun, his company and friends had come to accept this and he could still continue his career. Things were definitely starting to look up.
“Oh Jae, I’m happy for you! For us!” Jongyun said cupping Jaejoong’s face and bringing their lips together.
“I’m really happy too…” Jaejoong whispered against Jongyun’s lips before they continued kissing.
-A few weeks later-
Jaejoong walked into the holding room as per usual when he noticed that the atmosphere was much duller than most days. Everyone seemed to have an invisible gloomy cloud above their heads it seemed.
“Hey, is everything alright?” He asked a random crew member whose name he was fighting to remember. Jaejoong tried his best to know all the people he would be work with on a project.
“Well…uh…” before the tiny girl who was laden with numerous clothes could answer, she was interrupted by Dongyup.
“Jaejoong, I found you finally!” Dongyup huffed and paused to catch his breath. “I have some really bad news. I just got word that Hyun Bin-shi’s car got into an accident and he has dislocated his shoulder and has fractured arm as well, seems like he will be dropping out of filming.”
“Wha…!” Jaejoong was shocked. Just yesterday he had bid goodbye to a happy, healthy Hyun Bin and now they will be planning a visit to the hospital to see him. “How’s he doing currently?”
“Latest update I have is that doctors are still working on his injuries and we will have to wait a while before we get to see him.” Dongyup reported. “Anyway, I have got to make runs. I’ll need to inform everyone of this unfortunate situation and get casting crew ready for casting a new lead.”
Jaejoong bid goodbye to Dongyup as his mood now slipped to the bottom. He had come for rehearsals in a rather cheery mood. Jongyun and he had enjoyed a nice dinner and had an amazing night the day before since Jongyun would be leaving for a photoshoot soon. He was also getting along very well with the cast and crew and was looking forward to spending a good day at work. But this news dampened everything. Hyun Bin and he had become really good friends over the weeks and it saddened him to know that his newly made friend was suffering. Also, everything was about to become more chaotic and exhaustive as they would have to cast someone else in Hyun Bin’s place. What Jaejoong didn’t know was that he was going to have yet another rollecoster of a time soon.
--
“So they will be introducing the new lead today?” Jongyun asked as he drove Jaejoong to his rehearsal location.
“Yes, they refuse to tell us who he is. Something about how this is the movies where they simply do not tell us things as they rather show it.” Jaejoong gave a sigh at that. Jongyun chuckled at the grumpy Jaejoong. Well, Jaejoong did have his grumpy mornings, just that today he was being extra grumpy since Jongyun was leaving for his 2 week trip to the Maldives for a photoshoot to promote his new movie.
They pulled up to their destination soon enough while having a minimal conversation going on between them since Jongyun did not want to irk grumpy Jaejoong further. “Alright, sweet heart, I will see you in 2 weeks’ time and til then be good!” Jongyun joked as he pulled Jaejoong into a deep kiss. Jaejoong responded back enthusiastically. Huh, who knew that was a possible cure to grumpy Jaejoong.
“I’ll miss you.” Jaejoong pouted as he looked into Jongyun’s eyes.
“I’ll miss you too, love.” Jongyun replied but instead looked around to see if no one was peeping into their car since they had not come out to the public just yet.
A couple of quick kisses later, Jaejoong reluctantly let go off Jongyun and made his way to the holding room while Jongyun zoomed off to the airport.
--
“Jaejoong-ah!” Seung hoon called out his castmate.
“Oh! Hyung!” Jaejoong walked over to meet his co-star and senior.
“Ready to see who’s our new cast mate?” Seung Hoon said just before he opened the door to the holding room where the new star would be waiting for them.
But before Jaejoong could answer Seung Hoon’s question, he had pushed open the door and they came face to face with no other than…
“YUNHO?!”
next → Hello everyone, this is a new fic in the making. I had gotten this idea rather randomly. I dreamt about this fic on one of my vacation nights but only had a chance to write it recently. Let me know what you think, alright~
