I just finished Butcher's Dresden Files series, except for Small Favor, waiting for paperback. I picked up the latest book by Kelley Armstrong, an author I'd previously enjoyed. See: Previously. Screw you Jim Butcher for spoiling me.

Novel, ancient necromancer whose apprentices are attempting to pick up where he left off. Named Kemmler. I thought, cool, slight nod to Heinrich Kemmler from Warhammer. Towards then end, I read that the villains first name is Heinrich. Bloody. Hell.

Ya know how the brain can see one thing, even though the eyes are seeing something completely different? Well, I think I've been doing too much gaming lately as I just read the word plainer as planar and had to go back and reread it as it made the sentence not make any fish.
