woohoo! I too could think of enough things to say about myself to fill this meme like 100 times over. I like to think it's not self-absorption, but thoughtfulness and self-awareness :) 28. yeah I empathize with practically this whole thing ... I think I gave my 100% to Seminar in high school, but since then, not as much. and I too respect people with a single talent and drive--that's why my brother is among the people who I admire most in the world--his focus is on being the best percussionist and musician he can be, and he succeeds brilliantly at it. Since I got to college I feel like I'm only pretty good at a bunch of different things, but not really excelling at any one endeavor. 30. I'm also really sensitive to noise, I totally believe it's a musician thing! 33. yep yep yep.
aw yui! this is great. also, you're a really good writer! and really perceptive and objective about your strengths and weaknesses. what I love about this whole "25 facts" thing is it reminds me what fascinating, amazing friends I have :)
Aw, those compliments mean a lot, coming from you. I really like reading your LJ, by the way - always a very interesting read. I totally wish we lived near each other so we could go on random spontaneous excursions and/or spend hours talking over tea.
See, I'm a form and function person, which is why I finally bought a Mac a year ago. The marriage of the two makes me all kinds of giddy. It took me about two weeks to really be comfortable with it, but I'm totally smitten now.
Not sure about that...it would me like, befriending a die-hard Andrew Lloyd Webber fan.
Actually I'm pretty sure I have a few. Sigh.
If I'd been brought up on a Mac, it's possible I'd very well find it functional - but now there are so many things that just don't logical to me. Like the "maximize" button not actually maximizing, windows getting buried under all these other fucking windows, home/page up/page down/end buttons not functioning as they should...
Something tells me there may be a videocamera hidden in the said room. I still don't really like anime, but I will always love me some good quality manga.
