So. Yesterday I worked my first shift at Tiggy's, only 3 hours, went fine though I didn't feel too good. The boss said I did good so yay me. They hired on a crapload of new people at once and so far I can easily say I'm at the top of the newbie food chain; they've scheduled me way more than most of the new people and have been giving me much less '

I've asked the Y to volunteer too, and left a message with my phone number and stuff. I was really surprised they didnt call back either. Alot of the time, volunteers are not all that well managed / co-ordinated, so its not surprising that they didnt get back to you. I felt the same way though -- I felt I didnt need to volunteer so badly, that I would chase them...
