Drove out of Transylvania over the Carpathian mountains yesterday, through snow tipped trees, into Wallachia. We narrowly missed some puppies. There are many stray dogs in Romania, but suprisingly little dog shit on the street ( Read more... )

Went to a Dracula themed restaurant
It had animals that had been stuffed on the walls, stags, boars etc....
They had Dracula specialties. Agent 2Twink ordered the Dinner of the Wallachian Count. There was also 'destroyed draculas dick' on the menu, but no one ordered that.

Near to the hotel, there was a massive cross up on the hill. There was a building there, that we thought might be a castle, but was maybe a church. They were building a little gothic bldg next to it, and they were building a (faux) old looking wall being built ( Read more... )
