Part of the whole event was discounted hotel rooms for those who were too tired/drunk/lazy/any-combination-of-the-prior-three to drive home.
Actually we weren't blasted. I suppose I could have gotten blasted, but after hearing the music selected for the dance portion of the evening, we both were generally disgusted and decided to retire early...
...not everyone in the world dances to hip-hop, you know. I don't dance much period. I dance even less to music I can't stand
