Haha. Nice way to stereotype all Bush-voters...

With the Religious Right in charge, my sterotypical sarcasm will become a reality.

So much for being a Democrat, or a Republican moderate in times like these...it doesn't pay to have an opinion, at least not for the next four years.

Speaking of moderates, the speculated candidates for the '08 election are Hilary and McCain...how TOUGH would that be?

Well, of course before 1994, the Dems had a majority in the HOuse for 40 years. But there were conservative and moderate Republicans and conservative Democrats still out there fighting for their causes. Democrats should probably do the same thing. But yeah, since maybe 1994, the parties have become more polarized and now its morelike, if youre a liberal, you have to be with the Dem party and if youre a conservative, you have to be with the Repub party. YOu don't see any conservative Southern Democrats or liberal North Eastern Republicans anymore. Zell Miller and JOhn Breuax were the last of the conservative Dems.

BUt, not all of us Republicans agree with every policy inbitiative of the Religious Right or CHristian Coalition. Some of us may agree with some points but not all of them.

Now who do you think would win and/or who would you vote for between Hillary and McCain? What do you consider HIllary? A moderate or a liberal?

I think of Hilary as a moderate...she is in support of the war in some capacity and is on one of the war commitees as well. I'm really not sure who I'd vote for...John McCain is my favorite Republican, and the type of person that would be able to reverse a divisive United States. I don't see Hilary being able to do that as well; the Clinton's are known for being left wing liberals...I think the Clinton name could hurt the chances of winning any Republican votes, to be honest. I would love to see a woman in the White House, especially Hilary, but with the political climate in this country, I don't think that will happen just yet. I think Hilary is an obvious Democratic nomination, but an easy target at the hands of the right. They'd pull out all of the stops, and I'd bet money Lewinsky would be brought back into the fold, even though Hilary had nothing to do with the scandal.

Barac Obama(spelling?) would be a better choice, although again, as an African American, he stands at a disadvantage. There isn't room for the minority...not yet

Good thing you said it, because I was about to reach through the computer and slap you for making a Nader reference!

See you at the polls in '08.
