Sad...
I am thrilled that my wife's surgery went so well and that she feels better already... but it's also sad to go to bed alone :( I miss my beautiful wifey! -R

The wife did well! She is doing fine, just tired and achey. She is sleeping in my chair (the throne!) with her mother looking over her whilst I am out getting her meds and food she can eat. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and well-wishes!

Best line of the weekend: A player in a D&D game I was in who was playing a Dwarven cleric used a power called Gaze of Defiance. Me: "I didn't know they allowed gaze in the Dwarven military!"

At the border...
The wife and I are waiting at the US-Canadian border as we make our way north to Montreal. We are going to see a Tori Amos concert (my belated birthday present) with Christine and Andy, perhaps visit the old city, and whatever else strikes our fancy. We have 3 days to enjoy the city at our own pace. Yay Canada!
