I never had the chance to read Watchmen when it was 'new'.  The movie for me was pretty much my first experience with the story.  I did know that it was a movie about superheros but it wasn't a 'superhero movie'.  I really really liked it.  So much that I've been waiting anxiously for about a month and a half to get the movie on DVD.

I was a sewing fiend all weekend.
I made 6 'medieval man bags' for family and friends.  They are easy to do.  I'm actually thinking about teaching a little Sewing 101 class at Baronial College.  Not only are they easy but a great way for newcomers to get one of those little 'extras'.

Friday afternoon we picked the kids up.  Very excited to have them for the rest of the month.  Then Melanie and I took the boys up to D&D's.  They were headed off on a boys only trip to Castellan.

Well, we made it home safe and sound from Gulf War.  We packed up Saturday afternoon after the Castle battle and then stayed a bit longer to help the last person in camp get loaded up so they could scoot last night also.
