Well, it seems I'm gonna have a WONDERFUL birthday. I haven't had 1 hour of straight sleep tonight (hence the fact I am posting at 6:45am), there is no way someone can help me watch Ari so I CAN sleep, and I am sick with a cold

It is likely that Ari is responding to your exhaustion and mood. I have found that the more tired and irritable I am around James, the he responds in kind. If I can take a moment to center myself, take some deep breaths, and *then* approach him with a settled mind and warm demeanor, he is very compliant and happy.

I'd think that's gotta be a part of it as Ari tends to start behaving when I come home.
