Okay so we got stuck underground for 11 hours and it only took them 20 minutes to get in, find us, and get us out again. Let's just say that the guy who knew the caves like the back of his hand had his gloves on and we'll leave it at that ( Read more... )

Hahaha. I went looking for footage on the web when someone recognised you on the TV but to no avail. Oh well, at least it had a happy ending.

Is their comment public, and if so do you have a link to the full statement? I didn't know it was their decision as to which caves people could or couldn't explore. Drains, maybe. Have a good weekend, Shlemielski.

don't know where the feral scum got the idea we were experienced - for 2 of us it was a first time underground, hence going with someone who had led a number of trips down there.

tell the cave clan to stick to their melways reinforced concrete tunnels eh?
