Bloody Nora, you've knocked me for six. I am sitting here with tears pouring down my face. Beautifully done, love. I love so much about this, but I absolutely adore the way you've drawn a complete family - no character is left unfilled. So much love and so much sadness.
Tragically beautiful. You did an absolutely brilliant job painting the entire picture. I just love how the in control no matter what CJ that we know so well emerged at the end in the face of her father's yelling.
I like Tal even less than I did before, but I do like Brian and Tommy very much. Wish we'd gotten to meet them on the show. Any idea who's Hogan's Dad?
Thank you, my dear. I hope it lived up to the hype, or lack therof. Heen.
Yeah, I think her Mom dying is probably what set in motion CJ's control.
We never were too fond of old Tal, were we? But when I watched TLG, Molly said something about how she and Tal had these quiet lunches for years, even when CJ's mother was alive. And that just sort of made me burn, so Tal got the short end of the stick.
Brian is Hogan's dad, at least in my mind. Tommy is the gay brother, the only real fandom thing for CJ that I've always sort of accepted.
Thank you so much! I always wished we'd gotten to see her brothers, at the very least Hogan's dad. But, it's nice to get to make them the way I picture them with no risk of AU. Heen.
I have always desperately wanted to meet CJ's brothers more often in fic. I should've just poked you to write it for me years ago. I love this. It explains so much about her and her father and the somewhat difficult relationship we see later. Always good to see you stick your head above the parapet, love.
"Tommy insisted that they get CJ some new shoes to go with it, and he used his allowance to buy them, as they’d already used most of the coffee can money."

Thank you so much, my dear!! You know what it means to her praise from you!
And I think I'm slowly but surely getting back on a more even footing, so hopefully I'll pop my head up more and more.
