Last night we went to Don's parents' house for dinner. God that place is so gross. And I know they're Italian, but dammit can they make something else besides watery unseasoned "sauce". And I don't consider it "sauce" when all they do is open a can of tomato sauce and add a bayleaf to it.

 For some reason today I forgot to put my contacts in and went to work in my glasses. In two years that's never happened. I don't know why. Yesterday I had the interview for the higher position in my company. It would be going from assistant buyer to associate buyer, which aparently is skipping a step and a big leap for me. Last night was nice. On the way home from work I stopped at Wegmans and bought 2 trays of sushi rolls and I also got some of their sushi grade tuna (so expensive but so yummy). We are going to a convention in three weeks. Before the last con, I made for Don three uniforms, the vest Picard wears in First Contact, the regular grey shoulder uniform, and a captain's white dress uniform. We had a vendor bring us lunch today. YAY for free lunch. My bitch coworker always takes her lunch in some empty room by herself. But today when this vendor brought lunch, she walks over, picks up a sandwich, grabs her book and walks out and dissapears for half an hour.
