Thank you! I'm so glad you liked this. One thing I do really love about Merlin/Morgana is that I don't think either of them would be afraid to push boundaries or explore beyond the bright line of convention, whether it's kinds of sex or gender roles or any of that. And the potential for sex magic is simply vast *g*

Given the society she lives in, I can't help but think Morgana would want to be a man on some level, to be a prince and a warrior and taken seriously. So in a way they're each acting out a fantasy here.

Yes, I can definitely buy that interpretation. I feel so bad for Morgana, especially knowing the traditional end of the story. In the commentary where Katie sounds outraged tells Colin that it's all his and Gaius' fault I almost cheered.

Yes! I did, too. And yet after watching Morgana nearly kill Uther and then turn on her co-conspirators when she changed her mind I think Merlin would be even less likely to trust her with his secret. But that's quite a separate question from keeping from her that fact that she herself is a seer, drugging and lying to her. That is the part I find hard to forgive. Not the least because it is sort of just stupid and the justification of protecting her from Uther makes no sense.

She feels the edges of Merlin's dreams as he sleeps next to her--golden hair, a heavier body pressing him into the bed. Morgana has seen too much of the future to be jealous, to let her heart get caught up in this.
These sentences are actually magic...

Thank you so much! As a die-hard slasher I'm always a little shocked at how much I like Merlin/Morgana. But the potential for sex magic almost makes up it.

Thanks! I'm always a little puzzled at liking Merlin/Morgana but they are so pretty and have such potential for kinky sex magic that I forgive them for not being slash. ("Well, nobody's perfect.")
